the_... for longer than normal, around 30 minutes. So anyways, I get back to my desk, and my boss had been looking for me for the last half hour. He asked where I was and I told him that I was using the bathroom.

"For the last 30 minutes?" He says to me. Like... yeah buddy, I was taking a , who hasn't taken one that long before? Does he really want me to go into graphic detail about it?

Anyways, he then scolds me for taking another 30 minutes off right after my half hour long lunch break. I tried to tell him that it was an emergency but he wasn't having it. Eventually he

tells me that we're not allowed to take that much time off in the middle of the day without requesting it first and tells me that he is going to have to take 30 minutes of my PTO for the time I spent in the bathroom.

Like... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I WAS TAKING A AND YOU ARE GONNA USE MY PAID TIME OFF FOR THAT!? this job man. I barely get any time off to begin with. I guess I'll just send my boss a PTO request the next time I need to take a dump.

billy_lam26 6 hr. ago : on Haha yeah I've used the old "I will gladly drop my pants and the ground if you ever complain about my bathroom breaks, and then afterwards you are free to explain to the company, the union, the ministry of labour if need be, and HR why exactly an employee was forced to defecate all over the floor instead of in a toilet". Never bothered me since.

Wactout 5 hr. ago my pants in a shop meeting before. Told the foreman I needed to use the bathroom really badly. (I have ibs-d). He told me I could wait. My couldn't. So I stood there with liquid gold running down my leg as the other mechanics were retching. I got written up for insubordination. I don't miss that job.

purpldevl 3 hr. ago This woman had a tally and total of the time I spent in the bathroom for the past few days. I was sitting here like, "Yes, if I feel a bubblin', I'm going to the restroom. I'm not myself for the going to sake of time management."

baconraygun 2 hr. ago I once had a boss wait outside the bathroom, knocking every few seconds. I couldn't' hear what she said through the door, so I just kept saying "Just a minute!" When I was finally done (it was some ) she held me there for over ten minutes yelling at me. It was so incredibly dehumanizing.
